We took Oscar to "See Spot Run" in Ferndale for his doggie vacation while we were in Maine. You can see that he was pretty comfortable there. I was so relieved.

Alison's graduation

Alison returned to Washington 3+ years ago and started on a four year degree at Western. It has not been easy for her. She graduated yesterday magna cum laude! We are so proud.
She and Ric are to be married in August, and then Ali starts grad school in the fall (she wants to be a mental health counselor).

This was a very exciting day for all of us.

Old Sauk River Trail

We hiked a new (to us) trail on Friday.
It was lovely--very green, with beautiful ferns and wildflowers, along the Sauk River.
